Welcome Families,

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself and Phoenix Children’s Academy to you and our community. Our center has been a valuable part of the Sherwood community for over 8 years, providing the highest quality early care and early education program in the area. We go above and beyond to provide high quality educational experiences for all our children from the age of 6 weeks up to 12 years old. Each child is treated as an individual in our classrooms and each family as a part of our community. In our classrooms you will see children explore and create with their environment as they develop their skills for working with others, building their self confidence, problem solving and developing a strong love of learning at an early age.

From our hand-painted murals, beautiful playgrounds for all ages to the new addition of SMART ™Board technology and expanded preschool curriculum including Zoo Phonics™, you will be able to see the difference the minute you walk into our state of the art school.

I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 10 years and I have been at our center in Sherwood for 8 years helping the children in our community thrive in a nurturing educational environment. What makes our center special is the people who are a part of our school family.  Our teachers have almost 100 years of combined service teaching at our school.  Each teacher brings their own creativity and passion for education to the classroom and welcomes each child with warmth and genuine interest in their development and success.  The other people who make our center unique are YOU, our families. Every child and parent is a part of our community and it is a pleasure to be a part of your child’s growth and experience during this magical time in their childhood.
