My son has attended the school since October of 2006. Before enrolling him in the school I toured several others and none of them were as clean, warm and welcoming as this one. The class structure and curriculums are ideal and yet still fun for my child. They also really now how to keep the parents very much involved; there isn't a season that goes by without planned activities and/ or field trips. As a single parent without family in the area, I can honestly say the school makes my life a lot easier because I know that my son is well cared for, happy and safe while I am at work. The Pocket Phoenix staff is competent and kind, the facility clean, the meals are healthy and there is a balance of learning and fun. As a parent I couldn't ask for any more!

Welcome to Phoenix Children's Academy!  Our center celebrated its fifth anniversary in May.  All our classrooms cater to our center-based curriculum, and offer a variety of activities to maximize a well-rounded and fun-filled day.

We offer a Before and After School program for school-aged children with free transportation provided to and from the following neighborhood schools:

This program runs throughout the school year and our teachers do assist with homework.  During Professional Activity days and all school holidays and vacations, we are proud to offer a full day program to our school-age students.  Our Summer Camp program is geared towards our school-aged students and offers weekly themed activities all summer long!

We have two outside playgrounds that feature age-appropriate redwood playground equipment that is sheltered under bright blue awnings to allow us to enjoy the Arizona weather everyday.

The unique feature about our Phoenix Children's Academy is that it is “mini” in the best sense of the word.  Our building does not have rooms with overly large capacities.  Our largest classroom on the “younger side” of the building holds a maximum of 17 students in it.  We feel that this makes for a much more manageable and educational child care setting.  We believe that any parent would feel comfortable knowing that only 16 little two year olds are in a room vs. 27 at a time.  It gives our teachers that extra time to get to know your little ones and watch them flourish and grow!!!

Phoenix Children's Academy on Thunderbird is conveniently located at the 75th Avenue exit, off Loop 101, a major highway looping around Phoenix and Scottsdale, which makes us very accessible for our working families.
